Tom might be 22, but already he has amassed an incredibly large range of working experiences that make him a standout. Qualified with a Bachelor of Business and previously a school captain, he’s gained over 9 years of knowledge – starting his working life earlier than most. This includes areas such as hospitality and sports management (within hotels and sporting clubs), as well as sustainable timber production.

At Aston, he is a vital link within our support team. Assisting our sales and leasing experts across transactions, market research, communication to clients, as well as campaign preparation and property inspections. During each day, Tom works side-by-side with many of our senior agents to ensure campaigns run smooth and all our clients receive accurate market insights and outstanding service.

With such a broad working background, we asked Tom what has drawn him to Commercial Property as an industry. As he puts it, “While completing my Bachelor of Business, I focused on developing skills in marketing, analysis and communication. Wanting to apply these skills in a practical environment, I’ve pursued opportunities within the commercial property industry and that’s led me to Aston. Throughout my education and early professional experiences, many of the skills I developed are highly transferable to commercial real estate, so it’s been a great fit.” Tom also has a keen interest in expanding his property knowledge and learning from some of our best professionals. 

Outside of work, Tom is a keen traveller. He has visited much of Europe, the US and trekked in the Everest region of Nepal. He also takes a keen interest in world events, business, property and trends as a result. When Tom’s not in the Aston office, you’ll often find him on a sports field. Playing football, basketball, tennis and working on his personal fitness goals.
