Daniel has accumulated a range and depth of property and business experience in his 20s that is nothing short of impressive. That’s why from the moment you meet him, you can see he has a drive and a way of navigating daily business that sets him apart. His trajectory into a property career has seen him work with leading firms in suburban Melbourne, as well as the CBD and inner city. Across both residential and commercial real estate and spanning roles that take in Leasing Analysis, Sales & Leasing and Property Administration.
With the team at Aston, he is involved in supporting leasing operations across a commercial property portfolio taking in Retail, Office, Industrial, and Commercial sites. This includes managing tenant enquiries, coordinating maintenance and contractor workflows, monitoring arrears, supporting lease compliance, conducting inspections, assisting with budgets and reconciliations and populating database and tenancy records. This can extend to providing regular updates and reports to landlords around their arrangements and assets.
When questioned on what Daniel admires about the Commercial Property sector, he said it’s the challenges and problem-solving that completely draws him in. “I enjoy working in commercial real estate because it offers a diverse range of challenges,” Daniel says. “There’s a genuine opportunity to directly influence how businesses operate and succeed. How buildings are designed, managed, and optimised fuels my passion for the commercial landscape, and I view the commercial property as a space where you can meaningfully contribute to both business flow and asset value.”
When he’s not interacting with tenants, landlords and colleagues and it’s time for the weekend, Daniel’s best place to be is with family and friends kicking a footy, his community or the beach. Prior to Aston, Daniel worked closely with a not-for-profit organisation empowering South Sudanese Australians. When it’s time to really decompress though, he heads out to take a walk at one of Melbourne’s great beaches. “I love the water. So beach walks have always been a haven for me to clear my mind.”
